Our Process
How It Works
Step 1
Have a free consultation with our CEO. We will review all the taxes and fees that you collect. Then we can prioritize based on your needs. Our software can house property,
business and individual taxpayers. We can import past years of history. We can also provide nationwide collection services that are performance-based, data mining services, electronic payments and much more. Our software is cloud-based. It takes 10-15 minutes to master. And it is the best value on the market today.

Step 2
Once we agree on the scope of the project, we begin loading the data. This is our forte, and if the data is electronic, we can usually import it and have you ‘live’ in a few days.
Training is ongoing and as needed. Our support is outstanding, and our software is table-driven. So even if you are collecting something we do not currently track, we can add that tax or fee, usually within an hour. All revenue collected, whether it is from us, internal to you, or another 3rd party, is posted when received or entered. Payments can be posted in a few seconds.

Step 3
We communicate as often as you like. We work for you. In many cases 5-10 minutes per week is all that’s required, although some prefer email only and that works fine. The most important thing for us is to provide value. We are proud of our accomplishments
and providing a solution that most thought impossible. We follow the 4Cs, found here. Government is not hard when the right people are in place.

Who We Work With
On the government side, we generally work with one ‘point person’—whoever is most responsible for finances and/or streamlining operations. In many cases, that is the elected treasurer or finance director. But governments operate differently, and sometimes the person we report to is the mayor, manager, auditor, or accounts receivable.

When we begin, we do suggest stability. Council turnover is a constant, and some governments change administrations more often than others. We assume that we will be working together for a long time, so it is important that we can work with someone for a few years at a minimum. Many of our relationships are over five years, which allows us to really focus on building strong processes for the future.

Internally, we work with the best auditing teams. We leave nothing to chance. Our forte is finding missing revenue through discovery, so our data mining is performed internally. If a high percentage of missing revenue is the result of businesses not in the taxpayer database, we not only get those businesses imported and help bring them current, but also research the reason for this happening and rebuild the process from the beginning.

On the collections side, we have a long-term relationship with the number one collector in the United States. They not only specialize in the collections of delinquent accounts, but our systems are integrated and they work on a performance-based percentage. They can also provide call center support on inbound calls.
Who Benefits?

Administrations
We act as a partner to discover and collect missing revenue while re-engineering outdated processes to maximize future collections. We also help reduce wasted staff resources and improve communication through more efficient messaging.

turnKey Taxes
We do, because working together helps us improve internally—nearly 100% of our software and operational improvements have come from suggestions by our municipal clients.

Residents
Most importantly, your residents. We abhor tax increases of any kind and are passionate about working with you to make the government that serves your community the best it can be.
