Presidential Elections: Be Thankful
It’s the day after. Half the US is in mourning and the other is jubilant. With all
of the rhetoric and negative ads, it really is a relief to have all of
this behind us.
So much of the resources from both parties were focused on “what’s wrong”. Seriously,
you’d think that America is washed up.
The truth is, 1/2 of the world is so poor that they’ve never made a phone call and
every day, 40-50 thousand babies starve to death. People would do
anything to have the problems we have in America.
Let’s take a day to reflect on what we do have and also spend a moment to silently
thank those in uniform.
With all of our faults, we are the greatest county – ever. Yesterday, we exercised that
right. Today, let’s realize how fortunate we really are.
